MapVision

MapVision^TM is a web-based mapping system designed to consolidate multi-source surveillance data in order to develop and deploy strategic larvaciding and adulticiding response applications. In real-time or near real-time, surveillance data from landing rate counts, trap counts, larval inspections and citizen complaints are projected over satellite and animated maps to provide management a broad vision of the adult and larval mosquito populations. From the surveillance data, treatment response strategies are developed and deployed for all ground and aerial larvaciding and adulticiding assets, and adulticiding response applications. Beyond the broad picture, MapVision^TM can drill down to individual data sites and display details for each site such as counts of each species, sub-totals and totals. MapVision^TM also post data and treatment zones to the businesses public website, providing heightened and effective communication to the public as to where trucks, aircraft and other response assets will be applying larvacides and adulticides. Additionally the public can indicate their individual address on the website and determine if they are in the treatment areas. Citizens can also submit mosquito complaints via the MapVision^TM public website portal.
