The PrecisionVision product line from Leading Edge offers the latest advancements in Remote Piloted Aircraft (RPA) solutions to assist vector control operations with challenging, time consuming, labor intensive tasks ranging from remote larval surveillance to aerial larvaciding and adulticiding applications.
The Remote Piloted Aircraft product portfolio is represented by six incredibly diverse, feature rich platforms suitable for use on rotor wing, quad copter and octocopter platforms.
PrecisionVision 5 (PV5)
Although the smallest of the three systems, the electric powered PrecisionVision 5 is engineered to provide the most advanced capabilities for larval surveillance. Designed and configured with aquatic landing skids, the PV5 can hover or land on the water, providing live high definition (HD) video and still image feeds from an underwater camera back to the operator. Combining these features, the PV5 becomes a valuable, efficient and time savings surveillance tool providing identification of mosquito larvae presence. The PV5 also has the ability to release methoprene, Bti, Bs and other solid larvaciding formulations. With a product payload of 4 pounds, the PV5 can treat up to 1,000 sq. ft. per mission.
PrecisionVision 10 (PV10)
The PrecisionVision 10 is an electric powered RPA, single mast helicopter. Capable of achieving applications speeds of 15 mph and a payload capacity of 10 pounds, the PV10 can apply liquid larvaciding products, treating up to 20-25 acres per hour and more than 500-700 acres per hour of adulticiding. The PV10 is a multipurpose aircraft, offering multispectral imagery and live video surveillance features (see PrecisionVision 10 & 30 Options below).
PHANTOM 4 PRO+
An upgraded camera is equipped with a 1-inch 20-megapixel sensor capable of shooting 4K/60fps video and Burst Mode stills at 14 fps.The adoption of titanium alloy and magnesium alloy construction increases the rigidity of the airframe and reduces weight, making the Phantom 4 Pro similar in weight to the Phantom 4. The FlightAutonomy system adds dual rear vision sensors and infrared sensing systems for a total of 5-direction of obstacle sensing and 4-direction of obstacle avoidance.
REMOTE CONTROLLER WITH BUILT-IN SCREEN
A 5.5in 1080p screen integrated with the Phantom 4 Pro + offers 1000 cd/m2 of brightness, more than twice as bright as conventional smart devices. As the DJI GO app is built into the screen, hardware and software can be fully optimized, allowing you to edit and share instantly. A five-hour battery life makes the Phantom 4 Pro + a complete aerial imaging solution. The integrated upgraded Lightbridge HD video transmission system supports dual frequencies for greater interference resistance and a maximum video transmission range of 4.3mi (7km)*.
Different productions require different flight characteristics, and the Phantom 4 Pro offers three modes for flight: P, A and S. Switching between them allows pilots to get the control they need, whether they seek smoothness, simplicity, intelligent navigation or speed. In Position Mode, TapFly, ActiveTrack, obstacle sensing and positioning features are available. Sport Mode adds extra agility and higher speed, reaching 45mph (72kph). Atti Mode switches off satellite stabilization and holds the Phantom 4 Pro’s altitude. It is ideal for experienced pilots looking to capture smoother footage. Tripod Mode, which limits speed to 4mph (7kph) provides precision control for fine framing and indoor flying. Both the infrared sensing system and vision sensors are enabled in these modes for a safer flight experience.
5-DIRECTION OF OBSTACLE SENSING
FlightAutonomy is expanded with an additional set of high-resolution stereo vision sensors placed at the rear in addition to the pair placed at the front as well as infrared sensing systems placed on the left and right sides. This network creates a total of 5-direction of obstacle sensing and 4-direction of
obstacle avoidance, protecting the Phantom 4 Pro from more obstacles and giving filmmakers the confidence to capture more complex images.
The Inspire 1 was a revelation. The first filmmaking drone in the world to integrate an HD video transmission system, 360° rotating gimbal and a 4K camera, as well as the simplicity of app control. The launches of the Zenmuse X5 and X5R cameras further cemented the Inspire as a critical tool for filmmakers around the globe.
The Inspire 2 takes everything that was good about the Inspire 1 and improves it. An all-new image processing system records at up to 5.2K in CinemaDNG RAW, Apple ProRes and more. It goes from 0 to 50mph (80kph) in just 5 seconds and hits a maximum speed of 58mph (94kph) and has a max descent speed of 9m/sfor unheard of speed and agility in an aircraft this size. A dual battery system prolongs the flight time to a maximum of 27 minutes (with an X4S),while self-heatingtechnology allows it to fly even in low temperatures.
FlightAutonomy has been revised and developed specifically for the Inspire 2,providing two directions of obstacleavoidance and sensor redundancy. Increased intelligence adds multiple intelligent flight modes, including Spotlight Pro, giving even single pilots the ability to create complex,dramatic shots. An upgraded video transmission system is now capable of dual signal frequency and dual channel, streaming video from an onboard FPV camera and the main camera simultaneously, for better pilot and camera operator collaboration.
ARGUS MG1 (PV22) Manufactured by DJI
The powerful propulsion system enables the MG-1 to carry up to 10kg of liquid payloads, including pesticide and fertilizer. The combination of speed and power means that an area of 4,000-6,000 m² can be covered in just 10 minutes, or 40 to 60 times faster than manual spraying operations. The intelligent spraying system automatically adjusts its spray according to the flying speed so that an even spray is always applied. This way, the amount of pesticide or fertilizer is precisely regulated to avoid pollution and economize operations.
RELIABILITY AND LONGEVITY
Equipment used in plant protection operations is susceptible to dust and corrosion, leading to high cost of maintenance and shortened lifespans. To counteract degradation, the MG-1 is designed with a sealed body and an efficient, integrated centrifugal cooling system. As it flies, the surrounding air enters the aircraft body via the front inlet, equipped with a triple filter system that keeps dust and particulate matter from entering. The air then passes through each of the aircraft’s arms to the motors, capturing heat from all components and the entire structure before exiting and dissipating the heat to the surrounding air. The combination of cooling and filtering increases the expected lifespan of each motor by up to three times.
EASE OF USE
The advanced flight controller integrated with the aircraft instantly and precisely responds to the pilot’s input. Choose between three flight modes: Smart mode, Manual Plus Mode and Manual mode, according to terrain and the specific needs of each mission. Under Smart mode, the flight can be easily planned with the press of a few buttons, without the need for mapping knowledge or other software, making the MG-1 not only the most efficient but also the most easy to use spraying solution. In Manual Plus Mode, the aircraft performs the same turns at the press of a button as it does automatically under the Smart mode, allowing for planning to be done on the fly for fields of irregular shape. Under Manual mode, the pilot freely navigates the aircraft.
The MG-1 automatically records its current and remembers its past coordinates as it makes its way across the field. In case the operation is interrupted, for example due to depleted battery or spraying liquid, flight easily be resumed from the last point in its memory after changing the battery or refilling its tank
The MG-1 design is based on a Y-type folding structure that can be installed without the use of any additional tools. Motor arms fold inwards making the aircraft compact and easy to transport, for example in the trunk of a car. Made from high-strength carbon fiber materials, the body frame is light yet durable and able to withstand the harshest conditions.
By integrating a microwave radar together with the MG-1’s intelligent flight control system, the aircraft is able to scan the below terrain in real-time, and adjust to keep a constant, centimeter accurate height above crops. Spray density is maintained even as the terrain rises and drops, so that the optimal amount of liquid is applied at all times.
DEDICATED REMOTE CONTROLLER
The dedicated remote controller is equipped with the latest Lightbridge 2 transmission system which enables ultra low-latency controls. Like the aircraft body, the remote is designed with water and dust protection. A special low-energy display panel gives real-time flight information and is able to last over extended periods of time on a single charge. Together with the highly responsive joysticks and convenient function keys, mastering the art of agricultural spraying is made easier than ever before.
MATRICE 600 PRO Manufactured by DJI
The Matrice 600 Pro (M600 Pro) inherits everything from the M600 with improved flight performance and better loading capacity.Pre-installed arms and antennas reduce time required for setup, and the system’s modular design makes it easy to mount additional modules.The airframe is equipped with the latest DJI technologies, including the A3 Pro flight controller, Lightbridge 2 HD transmission system, Intelligent Batteries and Battery Management system.
ULTIMATE RELIABILITY INFINITE POSSIBILITY
Combining ultimate reliability with accurate flight control, the brand-new A3 series of flight controllers is ideal for demanding industrial applications where reliability and customization are essential.
The A3 Pro is equipped with three IMUs and three GNSS units, with additional analytical redundancies for a total of six redundancies. Working together with advanced diagnostic algorithms, if the A3 Pro detects GNSS or IMU unit failure during flight, it seamlessly switches to another unit to maintain reliability and precision.
PRECISION FAULT-TOLERANT CONTROL
The new attitude determination and multi-sensor fusion algorithms improve the A3’s control accuracy. The robust control algorithm enables the A3 and A3 Pro to be adapted to a wide range of aircraft without the need for manual tuning. With a fault-tolerant control system, a hexacopter or octocopter can land safely even in the event of propulsion system failure.
D-RTK GNSS OPTIMIZED ACCURACY ULTIMATE RELIABILITY
D-RTK is a high precision navigation and positioning system specially designed for DJI A3 series flight controllers. Using dynamic differential technology, it provides ultra-accurate, centimeter level 3D positioning. This enhanced accuracy over typical barometer, compass and GPS systems makes D-RTK essential for commercial, industrial and scientific applications where accuracy is imperative.
Precise positioning of one centimeter vertically and horizontally is made possible through dynamic differential technology. This extreme accuracy allows for the creation of repeatable flight routes that provide reliable and valuable visual data essential for commercial and industrial scenarios.

The Zenmuse Z30 seamlessly integrates with DJI’s Matrice airframes. It will work right out of the box, offering up to a 30x optical zoom and an additional digital zoom up to 6x. It can stabilize to within 0.01 degree.
Users can zoom with just a tap of the finger. The Zenmuse Z30 is fully integrated into the DJI Go app. With the new TapZoom function, the gimbal will reorient towards the object when tapping it on your screen. With each tap, the Z30 camera will automatically adjust its focal length to give an enlarged view.
PrecisionVision 30 (PV30)
The PrecisionVision 30 is the heavy lifter, configured with a wet sealed gearbox, a reliable and economical twin cylinder engine accompanied with a quiet set of tuned exhaust pipes. The PV 30 has consistently proven itself in the field, both in manually flown and autonomous modes. Only the highest quality components, materials and processes in the manufacture of this airframe are used. Maintenance is minimal and parts are readily available. The PV30 is an ideal aerial adulticiding, larvaciding, multispectral imagery and live video surveillance platform. With a payload capacity of 30 pounds, the PV30 can aerially apply liquid and solid larvacide products, treating 30-60 acres per hour and adulticiding 1,100 acres per hour. The PV30 exceeds all other RPA platforms offered with a 45 minute -2 hour flight endurance time.
