Teflon Rods (1/8" square, 3" tall)

1/8" Teflon Rods are a more efficient surface size for collection of ULV ground and aerial application droplets.

The design and specifications of the 1/8" Teflon Rods offered from Leading Edge are the results of significant research, testing and development by Mr. Mark Latham and the staff of the Manatee County Mosquito Control, Palmetto, FL and Dr. Jane Barber of Florida A&M, PHEREC Lab, Panama City FL.

The 1/8" Teflon Rod is designed to be placed on each end of the spinning Impinger arm to sample airborne droplets within the movement of a spray cloud at fixed locations.  The Teflon Rods are constructed of square acrylic material with a Teflon coating on one side and a highly visible blue indicator marker that indicates the side of the rod with the Teflon coating.  This saves all those frustrating moments when you discover the rods were placed in the rotating Impinger backwards!
